Hello there! I'm Abby Norris (she/her), and I'm a Game Designer and Writer who is currently working towards my BA in Game Design. With a deep adoration for video games and storytelling since childhood, I have been writing academically and creatively for over 8 years, and have played video games even longer.

I remember sitting at the family computer watching playthroughs of games, and seeing how emotionally connected those playing got to the stories and characters. I knew then that I wanted to make games like that. I wanted to make games that told a story, games that made people really feel things. Now that dream is coming true.

Outside of making or playing games, I have been a competitive equestrian for almost 15 years now, and have owned my charming little horse, Buddy, for 10 of those 15 years (he is very cute, as seen in the slideshow). While I've had to put competing on pause, I still find time to ride in the small amount of free time I have available. Additionally, I love video editing, photography, reading, thrifting, food, and fashion - any of which I could talk about endlessly, so I will spare the lovely reader of this the details.

With my work, I hope to bring fresh new perspectives into the realm of game design as a queer woman. I want to represent those who are routinely underrepresented, such as women, queer folk, and POC, and create unapologetically diverse, meaningful, and emotional games, no matter the genre.
